The painting of the Our Lady’s tumbler copy

As some of you may remember it has been more than a year since I finished the biggest commission I had been requested to date: the Our Lady’s tumbler copy from the Exeter cathedral. It has been a monumental achievement for me – took me more than a year to finally say “this is it, it’s done!” – and I’m pleased with the result. Immediately after my chisel was put to rest, the brushes of Eddie Sinclair started to play their magic. In fact, the initial idea was to reproduce not only the tumbler itself but also its original colours. And here they are in all their splendour.
